Depending on the project requirements, a Novetec exhaust system can include silencers, insulated piping, expansion joints, rain caps, flexible supports and pipe penetrations. Exhaust silencer
Novetec offers a range of exhaust gas silencers designed to reduce noise from diesel and gas engine installations. Depending on the acoustic requirements, systems can be equipped with NAS absorption silencers, NRS resonance silencers or NCS combination silencers.
By combining these technologies, effective noise reduction can be achieved across a wide frequency range while maintaining low back pressure. Novetec silencers are available in steel or stainless steel and are suitable for generator, industrial and power generation applications.
Bellow
Novetec expansion joints are designed to absorb thermal expansion and vibrations in exhaust gas piping systems. These flexible elements help protect the exhaust installation by reducing stress on pipes, silencers and engine connections.
The expansion joints are available with carbon steel or stainless steel weld ends or with fixed or rotating flanges, allowing easy integration into different exhaust systems. Designed for demanding engine applications, they can withstand temperatures up to 550°C and ensure reliable performance in generator and industrial installations.
Flexible suspension
Novetec flexible suspension systems are designed to support exhaust piping while controlling dynamic forces and thermal expansion within the system. By using a combination of fixed points, pendulum supports and flexible support elements, the exhaust installation can expand safely while remaining properly guided and supported.
These suspension components are widely used in generator, marine and industrial exhaust systems to reduce vibration and mechanical stress, ensuring a reliable and durable installation.
Raincap
Novetec rain caps are designed to protect engines and exhaust systems from rain and external weather conditions. The balanced stainless steel design ensures reliable operation while allowing exhaust gases to flow freely.
The rain caps are manufactured from stainless steel and feature a durable, maintenance-free construction. Because the valve remains slightly open during operation, the system operates quietly while still providing effective protection for generator and engine exhaust outlets.
Deck- and bulkhead penetration
Novetec pipe penetrations are designed for the safe and vibration-free passage of exhaust pipes through decks, bulkheads or walls. These components allow the exhaust system to expand freely while minimizing vibration and temperature transfer to the surrounding structure.
Available as deck penetrations and bulkhead penetrations, they provide a reliable and durable solution for marine, generator and industrial exhaust installations. Optional drainage caps in steel or stainless steel can be supplied depending on the application.
Noveterm twin wall exhaustsystem
Novotherm is a modular stainless steel exhaust system designed for internal combustion engines such as generator sets and industrial installations. The pre-insulated twin wall design ensures low surface temperatures, excellent acoustic performance and reliable operation at high exhaust gas temperatures.
The lightweight construction allows fast and efficient installation without on-site welding. Novotherm systems are available with flanged connections or slip joint connections, allowing flexible integration into different exhaust system layouts.
