Flexible suspension general
An important reduction of construction noise and vibrations can be achieved by aplying anti vibration mounts between exhaustsilencer / piping and construction. we can also advise you regarding to the flexible suspensions of the complete exhaust system.
Stabilizer
A stabilizer is sized and positioned to allow maximum thermal expansion of the exhaust system between the fixed points in the exhaust and the stainless steel bellows. It is necessary to place the stabilisers at an angle of approx. 90° for flexible support of the exhaust piping in the required directions.
Hanging fixed point
A hanging fixed points support the exhaust system and control the dynamic forces which occur in the system while the vessel is in operation. A fixed point control the direction of thermal expansion within the exhaust system.
Standing fixed point
A standing fixed point support the exhaust system and control the dynamic forces which occur in the system while the vessel is in operation. A fixed point control the direction of thermal expansion within the exhaust system.
