Balancing airflow and performance

Ventilation is an essential part of energy system performance and is fully integrated into Novetec’s project services. It enables cooling, air intake, and heat residue dissipation, while at the same time challenging sound reduction. Where sound control requires enclosure, ventilation demands openness. Finding the optimal balance between both is where Novetec makes the difference.

Engineered ventilation design

Based on site data, energy system behavior, and allowable back pressures, Novetec engineers design ventilation systems that deliver maximum ventilation and cooling performance while maintaining effective sound suppression. Our ventilation specialists translate these requirements into buildable designs that allow your energy system to perform at its best, even in demanding environments.

Example Project

Amphia hospital Breda

Novetec engineered, supplied and installed a complete ventilation and exhaust system for a generator plantroom, including custom air intake, exhaust ventilation, suspended silencers and a new chimney system. The integrated design ensures controlled vibration, thermal expansion and reliable exhaust gas discharge through an insulated system leading to a double wall chimney of over 17 meters.

Verified airflow performance

Using computer-analyzed CFD calculations combined with CAD modelling and renderings, Novetec validates ventilation flows and air direction before construction. By designing and supplying our own thoroughly tested products, we ensure that calculations meet all requirements and that the outcome performs exactly as intended.
